Welcome to the Campaign for Kindness Website hosted by Resurrection, a United Methodist Church, with nine location in the Kansas City Area. These campaigns are designed to increase the levels of civility and kindness across our communities and counter the growing polarization. At the center of each campaign is a scriptural instruction.
The 2026 theme comes from Jesus’ command to Love One Another. The concept of “love one another” is a foundational, shared principle in most major world religions, and holds the key to God’s intent for how we are to live together as humankind.
You and your church or organization are invited to lead your own Kindness Campaign and join in making our communities and world look more like the Kingdom of God. All of the resources are provided for your use and can be customized with your church or organization’s branding.
Love One Another is Resurrection’s fourth kindness campaign, and this website will provide resources for all four campaign. Each has some unique elements, but they are share the same timeless message of bringing people together to love, respect and care for one another.
